Spell Check in Comment Box

Previously spell check was an option in the comment box through Wrike Labs, but since the new update this has been removed. It would be really great to have this added back in!!

How do I activate that? Because I'm using the Wrike app and nothing is showing up as a spellcheck error - even if I intentionally misspell something

Hi Lisa

Mandi K. Brown is having the same issue, where the spellcheck in comments has disappeared. Will you create a support ticket for her to get that updated?

Thank you!

Hi Heather Laedtke! Are you currently using the Wrike desktop app or are you using it from the browser?

Spellchecker was recently removed from Labs, as the latest comment stream update supports browser spell checking. If you are using the browser version of Wrike, be sure to enable spell checking in your browser settings to have it activated in Wrike. If your browser has spell checking enabled but your comment box won't show a misspelling, let me know and I can raise a Support ticket for you.

At the moment, there is no spell checker available for the desktop app. If you'd like, I can pass on your interest in this to the Product team.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, be sure to let me know.

I would love if the Wrike desktop app has a spell check option.I prefer to use the app over the browser, but miss the spell check option.

I just ran into exactly this issue. I vote for enabling spell checking in the desktop app too! I think I misspelled a bunch of comments before realizing that the desktop app was no longer warning me about spelling errors.

Hello All, has this been resolved in the desktop version? I get the squiggly line under my frequent spelling mistakes, but the dictionary suggestions are clearly not associated with my language of choice. is there a way to update the spelling dictionary used as default for your app?

I have the same problem as many others: "I get the squiggly line under my frequent spelling mistakes, but the dictionary suggestions are clearly not associated with my language of choice. is there a way to update the spelling dictionary used as default for your app?"

Is there a fix for this?  If there is a fix can you post it on this feed so everyone can see it?

Thanks Mike
