In the webinar, you mentioned that action items should be subtasks and reference materials should go in the task/project description. Should account managers be the ones creating each task or should the support team do that? For example, we are a marketing team. The account manager sets up the parent task or project with sections in the description of what each team needs to work on (content development, graphic design, web, etc.). Then each support team assigned to the task creates their own subtask and copies their section from the parent task description into their subtask. Is this the correct way to go about this?
Hi Hannah Yager, thanks for the question!ย
In this case, the account manager should create subtasks assigned to each responsible person from the supporting teams (i.e. content, graphic design, etc.) with the description in the parent task. They then @ mention each person on that parent task for notification of the design brief, and the supporting teams will check off their subtask when they have completed their part of the project.
Hope that helps, if you've any other questions let us knowย ๐
