Board View by Status Group

I really like the Board View for managing my tasks, and I would like to set it as the default view for a personal folder that I have. The issue I've run into with this however, is that many of the tasks within my personal folder, stem from other "root" folders. These "root" folders all have different workflows (one workflow in particular has many status options, not conducive to the board view).

Since I don't have control over these workflows, I would like to suggest creating the option to group the tasks on the Board View by status group instead of workflow. This way, users who run into this challenge (and prefer the board view), can view their board in a less convoluted way.

Even if I'd need to click on the individual task to update it's status, I'd find this easier than scrolling a wide board of status options to drag and drop my task.
