Blueprint for Tasks - functionality
I have been getting into Blueprints, very nice feature. I have a lot of tasks with repeatable subtasks and wanted to use Blueprints to create these. I wanted to suggest some improvements here:
- Have the ability to name Subtasks custom the way you can with Tasks in the Project Blueprint:
That is a great feature as it helps prevent too many similarly-named tasks, which is a problem I'm having in Wrike without a custom identifier around every task, like Jira where you get a "Project + Number" for each issue.
- Have Dependencies come over in the Blueprint between subtasks. I have a set of 5 subtasks attached to each task, all dependent on each other. It would be great if I could keep that dependency when I create out of the blueprint
- more readily available "create from blueprint" capability. In areas around Wrike, such as the "+" task create button, in Table View, maybe in board? it would be great to be offered the option to "create from Blueprint." Right now you have to go down to the Blueprint folder and find the task in there, and right click "create from blueprint".
Thanks guys for considering!
Hey I just realized that dependencies do come over, fantastic!
Really a great feature and I hope you guys can get some of these suggestions Implemented, thanks again!
Having the ability to add a Prefix to a 'Create from Blueprint' when it is just a task or task with subtasks would be great. We have a number of 'Master Task' blueprints, which do not need a top level folder, where a prefix would be beneficial. It is frustrating you only get this option from folders/projects.
Thanks for sharing your feedback on Blueprints, guys! It's passed on to our Product team 👍
