During this coronavirus pandemic, the majority of my co-workers are working from home. This has been a different experience. This is day 7 of our situation here in Alabama and I, along with my 16 co-workers have been communicating via Slack and Zoom. We have really been enjoying it and it seems as though we communicate more this way. I am still assigning tasks using Wrike, which is another app that I have open all day. Being a Media Producer, I also have Premiere Pro running as I work on my latest corporate video. My day begins with my cup of Joe and my oatmeal. The difference between working from my home and working in the office is that I have a beautiful double-pane window that looks out into my picturesque neighborhood, where I see people jogging or walking their pets on these beautiful sunny days.
Technology, for some, is a scary thing that "takes jobs", but I see technology as a better way to connect with people who you may have never connected with in person. Technology helps us organize better and faster, and it helps us to better streamline our processes. Using Wrike has really improved our workflow within our department. From the instant notifications when tasks or projects are assigned to connecting with our Adobe products, this solution has helped to shorten the time it normally takes for us to get our projects done, reviewed, and approved.

The company I work for has locations in 3 of the USA states, Texas, Nevada and Arizona. We are an automotive repair company, so we are considered essential and remain open, even our corporate offices. This is my office set up, including a hint of the view outside, which is a Veterinarians office, we get to see puppies sometimes, which is nice. I use Wrike for every task I have: "If it's not in Wrike, it doesn't exist" is my motto. If you look closely between the two monitors you can see the cool clock that was given to me, it tells me the time in words. In the photo it saysย IT IS TEN MINUTES PAST THREE.ย My favorite time is when it says IT IS FIVE O'CLOCK.ย :Dย I wish everyone to stay healthy and safe. M
