Excel document view - Gridlines
Is there a way that the "VIEW" for an excel documents can recognize the "View" selection for grid lines?
I have attempted de-selecting grid lines, saving and uploading and also "painting" the Gridlines - Neither seems to remove them from the "viewer"
Hi Alexander, welcome to the Community!
Could you give me a bit more detail with your experience? Is this for the File View or an imported/exported Excel file? Which "View" selection do you want to be recognised?
If you have any other questions let me know 😊
Hi! This is a response to an old post, but I have the same suggestion as the original poster, Alexander. It would be beneficial that the proof view for Excel files show exactly what the spreadsheet looks like. The proof view adds borders to all the cells regardless of formatting. Currently, guest reviewers must download the spreadsheet to view the actual formatting. Even though they are instructed to download the proof to see what the actual spreadsheet looks like, most do not.
This isn't a debilitating issue, but any improvements would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Gabrielle Angstadt, welcome to Wrike Community 👋
Thank you for sharing your feedback here! I'd suggest posting it as a separate post in the Product Feedback forum (I can't unfortunately turn your comment into a post). That way, your suggestion will enter our process (more on it in this post).
Please let me know if you have any questions 🙂
