[Status: Not Planned] Report Filters - "Exclude"

The Filters options within reports should include an option to "Exclude" custom fields that contain, or don't contain, a certain number / text. For example, we use a custom field that dictates the type of project that is being undertaken. If we want to run a report that excludes a particular type of project, we are unable to do so.

Hi everyone 👋

As of today, reports don't have an "Exclude" filter option.

But, you can use the New Dashboard Filters, which are now available through Wrike Labs, to filter and display specific numbers or text from Custom Fields.

For example:
In the first screenshot, you’ll see tasks with the custom field “Marketing Channel,” where the values are “Email” and “SMM” for different tasks.

In the second screenshot, while setting up a widget on dashboard (after enabling new filters for dashboards in Wrike Labs), select the custom field you want to filter by, in this case, “Marketing Channel.” Then, choose the "Contains" condition and enter your desired text or number.

For instance, if you enter “SMM,” it will only display tasks where “Marketing Channel” contains “SMM,” effectively excluding all other tasks.

I hope this helps! If there are any updates regarding an "Exclude" filter for Reports, I’ll be sure to let you know. Thanks!
