Hi Thomas!
While it is possible to create a timelog entry for a specific duration or to modify one, it is currently not possible to start and stop the timer through API calls.
Hope this helped! If you have any other questions let me know 😊
Thomas, I'm with you. I would love to fully integrate time tracking into our board. When the task is in the "Do" column the timer starts; when the status changes it stops. I'm going to try setting this up by adding an entry when a task leaves the "Do" status (if I can get the amount of time it was in that stage).
The quality of time tracking reporting is only as good as the integrity of the data, and the cleanest method for gathering data that I can think of is to eliminate the additional steps of time tracking and fully integrate it into the workflow.
Thank you for sharing your feedback here Jake Barnes 🙂 Welcome to the Community 🙌

Do you have any updates on this?
I don't want to start or stop the timer but I want to see if the timer has been started.
I see that an entry appears in the comments list: "Started timer." Can I access it somehow?
I want to use the "Play" button to track who is at work and online.
Possibly it could be extracted from the full export?
Thanks
