Proofing comments - 6 minute cut off

Is there any workaround to the 6 minute cut off that occurs when marking up extensive changes to proofs/docs?  My only idea so far is to download the file, mark it up in Adobe, and then upload it back into the task.  Thanks!

Is there a time limit setting in your account settings?

As I understand it, it is a universal, unchangeable, default setting.

We've been having issues with the 6 minute rule in our team as well. Across the board, we wish it didn't exist at all, and all notifications were instant. (The delay between email & wrike notifications causes a pretty confusing workflow in an instantaneous work environment.)

In your case, it seems like 6 minutes is not ENOUGH time. It also seems pretty absurd for Wrike to send a notification whenever a markup is made. Downloading a PDF, marking it up, and re-uploading it actually sounds like the best way to do it to cover for Wrike's UX flaws. However, it also seems like a simple fix for wrike to implement a "submit" button when marking up documents, so that you can take as much time as you need, and only commit those markups when you're done.

Also, our team has a discussion around this in this thread: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360038475194-Real-Time-Notifications

Help us get up to the 60 likes necessary for them to flag it with their product team. Thanks!

The 6 mins "edit" cut off is a pain in the a** especially when trying to work entirely in the Wrike environment - comments becoming "locked" after 6 mins means that if a user wants to edit their comment we are having to delete and re-do comments to avoid having a confusing comment and reply thread.

The benefits of working entirely in Wrike using the proofing upgrade (version control, integration with adobe etc.) are lost if the work around is downloading in adobe and uploading - we may as well go back to emailing pdfs and combining the comments.

I have upvoted the above discussion too - hopefully it will get the 60 it needs to get this sorted out - even if it is an admin option.

Hey Oliver Barrass, thanks for sharing your feedback here.

You've shared some really interesting insight in relation to this, which is much appreciated. I've passed this on to the Product team. If you need help with anything else let me know.
