Change "Rejected" to Something More Positive

There's already too much negativity and stress in the world, let's change the "rejected" label to something not so harsh. "Not Approved" would work just fine and not crush my soul every time I saw it. Any other suggestions are welcome! ✌️

Completely agree with this! I think it's actually causing some users to select the wrong option.

Agreed. Not Approved would be fine. Rejected is harsh.

A customizable option would be great since many companies use their own language to say something isn't right yet.

Clearly no updates since this was requested 2 years ago!!!

LOVE the customizable idea or how about needs changes or not approved. SO Simple. I've had employees actually tell me it makes them feel bad to see "rejected"

Yes, I hoped when I saw a notification that there was an update to this thread that something changed. It's sad to see that this simple request is being ignored by Wrike.

Just had this convo with one of our designers today. Make it more fun/interesting (and less harsh). Could totally align with Wrike's brand personality. Try again (we know you can do it). If at first you don't succeed... or whatever (something better and more thought out).

I am very disappointed that an issue that could be resolved with something as simple as changing 1 word, and that could have such a positive impact is clearly shelved as unimportant. Wrike clearly doesn't care about it's users. Community team members, stop replying to say it's on your radar. All that does is say you understand it's important to others but you don't care enough to do anything about it.

We’d love to be able to implement all of the suggestions that our customers share with us, but we have to prioritize certain requests over others based on various factors and considerations at the time. I think your Product Team is likely composed of engineers, which is why so many of these "nice to have" suggestions don't get addressed (see the name "Wrike," another thread I'm following). Maybe have them pull in a brand experience/customer service person - like you! - next time they are prioritizing the backlog. 🙃

The "Reject" term is very discouraging for the person rejecting the item and those who have to admit the changes. It seems like a simple word but it's mentally discouraging for people and the workflow.

It's also discouraging it's been 3 years since this has been brought up.
