[Status: Not planned] Dummy (Virtual) Users
Hi guys,
I need to add subcontractors to my project so that I could count on them in Gantt planning. Meanwhile they do not need to see that and will not colaborate in my account in Wrike. For the moment, I can't do that without collaborator to confirm the email. Which makes me adding fake addresses which is painful. Would be great to have such feature.
Virtual users is unfortunately a must-have item for us. Will have to pass on Wrike to find a different tool.

Yes, this feature is something that would take resourcing to the next level. Even if it consumed a license, I'd still like that, because I have to plan internal and external people, who don't need to see the actual workload—we talk and assign work at daily standup syncs.
Please add the ability to have virtual users to planning charts and to tasks.

We resorted to creating an Office 365 account that has numerous alias accounts associated with it. We then send all the invitations to that account, and can create the Wrike user accounts for these folks using this work around.

This is something my company requires as well. Unfortuately we haven't reached enough likes yet to get this going. So if anyone here has some colleagues with wrike accounts, please let them like this thread so we can get it going.

For me as well, I see this issue has been going on for a couple of years. I am due to pay the next years subscription and not 100% sure Wrike is the way to go for us. The ability to assign people and for people to not be notified until you are ready would be very welcome.
another use case is to be able to assign tasks to an asset, for example a simulation room.
This would be incredibly helpful for my team! Any update on this being added to the pipeline?

Another upvote here. This is a pretty standard project management tool feature. I've been an admin of at least five other PM applications that all have this feature. Wrike needs this to remain relevant to its userbase. Any update on where this sits in the backlog?
