[Status: Backburner ⌛️] "Approved with Changes" in Proofing & Approvals
We could really use an "Approved w/ Changes" option in Proofing. Often there's a very simple change that the requester doesn't need to see again after the change but they can only Approve or Request Changes - we've been overwhelmingly asked if they can just approve it and expect that the changes will be done and the final deliverable would be posted or if there was any way to get an "Approved with Changes" option added to be an indicator for the creatives to know that YES, there are changes but once you make those changes it's good to go.
Hi! adding my support for this here in addition to an upvote. I seem to remember another thread about including comments when just approving a file not a task. I think those two updates make sense to implement together. But even a "approved with comments" where you could note the one last tweak would denote that youdont need another round and the file would show as approved in wrike. Any combo of things that could take out this extra step would be nice. thank you!!
Yes! Adding my vote so hopefully, this will get out of the "backburner". This will help us expedite approvals when there are minor edits and approvers don't need a new proof.
Thank you folks, we've now shared your feedback with the responsible team 👍

Can we upvote this suggestion somewhere? We'd also like to see additions to the Approval Statuses. We need the "Approved with Changes" status and something such as "Not Relevant" or "Not Reviewed" so an individual can complete the approvals but note that they did not review the task or document.
Critical feature. Approvals are tedious. I want to say, "remove the oxford comma and then publish!" but I can't. So instead I'm trying to get my team to always read my comment that accompanies the approval. It's easily missed, however, because it's a tiny weird non-comment that isn't obvious. Just today this led to someone publishing a piece before it got looked at by an exec, and we had to scramble to make a change they requested. It was said that my "standard" comment after the Approval was enough to distract them from the Approval comment. And I totally believe that.
My boss only just became aware of this issue yesterday. She happens to also run the architecture team, and said:

Thank you for adding your feedback as well 🙂
Hello Teddy, thank you for sharing your use case with us, I've passed it over to our Product Feedback Team; if the Team confirms that there are any updates, please rest assured that we will come back to this thread and let you know about them 👍
Please add this feature!! It would help with our reviews SO MUCH!!
Kelly Hanson Agreed! This would be a wonderful feature to have. I have items sent to me to review throughout the day, and I often say just make this change, then good to go. This ability would be very helpful.

Agreed with this. We've basically done away with the default approval system in place of automated statuses in our reviews. But it's a workaround. Bot not an optimal use of a core feature.
Would love to have a "Approved with Changes" option for documentation review/approval process.
"Approved with Changes" option is highly recommended.
Hi Reece Capps and Ruoxi Wang, thanks for voicing your support for this feature suggestion. We’ll be sure to keep you updated if there are any developments in the future 👍
