Seeing previous comments on a new proof

We have an 89 page power point with extensive corrections.  I was told by customer service that there is no way to load comments from a previous version to the new version so that our reviewers can check that their changes were completed. I'm curious how others work with this, exporting comments to a pdf seems really inefficient...
