Checklist dialogue popup box on Workflow Status change
We have a range of workflows and one I assist managing through is our Design delivery / Production of artwork.
When we reach a final approval stage the designer working on the job uploads the artwork to a specific drive (rather than the in-progress drive) and changes the status to reflect this so the project manager knows the job has been closed off.
There are a couple of pain-points here, mainly around the responsibility of the designer uploading to have checked a couple of things–although this can also be said of some other workflow status changes in various workflows–which allows some errors to creep-in to the project at the last stage.
Now ideally what would be very useful would be a checklist that pops-up in a dialogue box when the workflow status is changed to a specific status making it a necessary step to check the list items before the popup closes and allows you to carry-on in Wrike.
Really what would be most useful here is a pop-up dialogue box that allows a range of content which has the optional requirement of needing to be address and an action made to close the dialogue box.
This would be an excellent addition to ensure both graphic designer and project manager double checks no errors have been inadvertently made towards the back end of a job.
yes! This would be a very helpful addition to my workflow. If a message pops up with a checklist of things to make sure has happened before moving forward would cut out a great deal of back and forth between people. PLEASE ADD THIS FUNCTION!
Hi Michelle Maginnis, welcome to the Community! Thank you for supporting this idea. May I ask if an automation rule could be helpful for you? You could create a rule that would trigger a comment and ask the assignees to check that all the requirements are fulfilled when the status is changed:
Would that be an option for you?
