[Status: Not planned] User friendly IDs and URLs
I'm used in other tools to having a call which goes like
"So, now onto issue 123".
Or posting a link to a milestone like mycompany.something.com/milestones/12
On Wrike task ids are not only hidden by default, but are 9 digits long. Nobody can remember that and even reading it out is error-prone.
And a link to a folder/sprint is like half a page long.
So my requests are:
- Ability to refer to a more useful local Id, not a Wrike-global unique id. I don't know, maybe even via a custom field if you could set it to auto-populate an incrementing value or something?
- Human-friendly URLs to projects and folders
- When typing in a task/comment, being able to get some sort of auto-suggest if I start typing ID/name of a task so I don't have to go search first.

Wrike IDs vs custom IDs are a huge pain point for my company.

Without this ability, our team has to manually create and track custom IDs for tasks. We have to use other apps to track these ID parts. It is very manual work for a digital project management app and adds a lot of overhead.
It seems like Wrike Automations should be able to handle this, and there have been recent feature additions to Automations around custom fields. Is it possible that any of these new updates allows us to build a workflow which creates custom IDs?
I don't understand how this is still not even on the backburner. Not planned? This is such a basic project management feature it makes zero sense that it's not already in Wrike.

This is one of the biggest pain point for us too. I'm doing my best to find workarounds so our projects can continue to work in Wrike but having to do a workaround in the first place is very discouraging.
I want to be able to input a prefix per project and have the system give me a user-readable ID on each task. eg ABC-00001

Rohan V this has been asked for quite some time now. Is there any update on where Wrike stands with getting this on the roadmap? Right now my team has a workaround using Wrike Integrate, but lately it has been very glitchy and is causing my team to have to go in and rename projects and tasks/subtasks manually.
