How to change default gantt chart view to show present / future and not start in past

    Hi Colin, happy to see you on the Community ๐Ÿ™‚

    The default Gantt Chart view depends on the Project you are looking at - if the Project is near the today's date, it will be shown, if it's not, you'll still see the the today's date (indicated by a red vertical line) and arrow signs: when you click on them, it will take you where the tasks are:

    So you should be able see the red vertical line when you open the Project on the Gantt Chart anyway. Please let me know if I misunderstood you, we can discuss it further here ๐Ÿ™Œ
