ToDo list in Gmail

The Gmail add-on would be extremely helpful if I could view my entire to-do-list in the sidebar. Right now it only opens a task related to an email that has a corresponding task. Google Tasks does a great job of this, where I can take a full look at all of my tasks and then click them to open the details.
