Custom Job ID's
help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/209603329-Job-Numbers?flash_digest=0d0e1316d3e95803190b5dee8d3cc2a9497a267e
Is there a way to create a custom Job ID in Wrike? Such as, but certainly not limited to, a ID including:
EXAMPLE: Year | Client Code | Project Number = 19AWS0812
Thanks, SD
Steve,
I think the best option would be to create a custom field named Job ID and enter your own job number in it. I have used text expanders to quickly generate and normalize Job IDs in the past. AutoHotKey (windows) and aText (Mac) are text expanders I have used in the past, but there are a lot out there.
Is a custom job ID field feature being considered as a native integrated solution to Wrike?
Hi Steve, happy to see you on the Community 🙂
Currently there are no custom task IDs. There's a similar feature suggestion in the Product Feedback section, please check it out. You can +1 it, add your use-case there, and once the suggestion hits 60 votes, our Product team will consider implementing it.
If the thread I mentioned is not exactly what you're looking for, I can move this thread to the Product Feedback section so that other Community members could upvote it too. Please let me know 👍
