SAML SSO Capability for Microsoft Teams Integration
Hi there,
We have recently completed our rollout of Microsoft Teams to our organization and currently use SAML SSO on Wrike in our environment to restrict our users to a company mandated workplace.
Wrike has a great app in the MS Teams store that would really help blend the user experience with Wrike and Teams.
Unfortunately, SAML SSO is not yet supported for Teams integration, and the suggestion is to enable OAuth SSO, but users would then be able to create their own workspaces and cause data governance issues.
Can someone elaborate whether or not this is a technical limitation and completely not feasible? Or is it something that's being worked on?
Thanks!
I concur - this would be fantastic to see in Teams. As both Wrike and Teams are enterprise-first applications, I'm surprised that SAML SSO wasn't in the first release of the Wrike app. I, also, would like to hear from Wrike on timing for this functionality.
This is something which i have heard something weird, https://errorcode0x.com/error-code-0x80070002/ recommended me to go for a second to know about SAML SSO.
Having the same issue integrating with Teams with SSO enabled. Is there a workaround for this or is the barrier with Wrike or Teams? Thanks for your help!
Hey all, thanks for posting this and sorry for the delay. Speaking with our Product Team, they are working on adding a solution to make this possible and are currently researching possible ways to achieve it.
Hearing your use cases around this helps so please do continue the conversation here by commenting with your interest and what/how this helps you achieve more 👍
I'll keep you updated here as I know more.
This would be HUGE for us to be able to integrate Wrike and Teams, which we currently can't do because we have SAML enabled on Wrike. Honestly, because my org has embraced Teams, this inability to integrate Wrike with Teams is putting our Wrike usage in jeopardy.
Is there a +1 feedback thread going for this feature? MONSTER UPVOTE from me!
This would be a huge help for us as well. Teams is becoming a bigger part of our daily communication and being able to integrate Wrike would really help drive efficiencies.
Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback!
I've moved this thread to the Product Feedback section, so please feel free to upvote!

I just attended the Wrike Collaborate 2019 Conference and they discussed the capability of incorporating Wrike into TEAMS now but they did not mention the sso issue...or, I did not hear them mention it. I was excited to utilize this feature until I added the app to my TEAMS and couldn't log in using our sso...highly disappointed. I hope this feature becomes a reality sooner than later as it would definitely help us be more efficient.
I would like to *BUMP* this thread. We have now completed our Teams migration, and my staff is loving Teams... but we are having to look at potential other solutions from Wrike because we cannot integrate the platforms. By way of competition, Asana, Planner, and Producteev all offer successful integrations with the major SSO players... Wrike: please catch up, your platform is incredible but this may be a deal breaker for us.
+1 to make this a priority! We are moving quickly to Teams and it will eventually replace Skype. Integration would be key and I do *not* want to go backwards with capabilities and have to disable SSO just to integrate it.
Agree with other comments, this puts future of Wrike at risk, particularly at companies which have other PPM tools in use.
Please give an update on where this stands.
Hi everyone! Now the integration should be working with the SSO accounts as well - please check it and let me know if you have any questions!

Lisa I've checked for updates in the Teams app and restarted it, but when i click "get wrike for teams" at https://www.wrike.com/apps/chat-messaging/microsoft-teams/ i get a vague "something went wrong" error.
Additionally, when I search for wrike in the Apps section of Teams, I get no results.
Am I missing something?
