Project Level Notification Settings
Hello,
I am creating a bunch of projects for the new year and trying to use Wrike to do some resource planning. I would like to be able to assign people to these projects and tasks but I dont want a bunch of notifications going to them at this point since this is just the planning stage and I may reallocate them after i see what allocations look like.
Is there a way for me as the Project owner to disable all notifications related to these projects until i am ready to make them "Live".
Thanks,
Steve
You could create the project and tasks and for assign them as a "Deferred" task?
I am not 100% sure if this will completely solve the problem, but it might help a little.
Thanks for the reply Devon. I will try it. I am hoping to avoid causing unnecessary worry from the team if they start seeing their names on a lot of tasks and projects during this planning stage. Would really like the ability to turn off notifications at the project level (or folder level) so I can plan the project and do some temporary resource assignments before it is official.
Thanks,
Steve
Hey Steve, Welcome to Wrike Community 🙂
I'd also recommend using our new experimental feature Blueprints (can be enabled in Labs by Business and higher subscription admins). When you add an assignee to a Task Blueprint or an owner to a Project Blueprint, it isn’t automatically shared and an assignee/owner doesn’t receive any notifications.
Please let me know if that helped 🙌

Thanks Lisa!
I will give that a shot - it sounds like a good way to build out a plan and then copy it into production when I am ready to start using it.
