How to report on specific project tasks

Hi all,

I am looking for some assistance with reporting. If I have a few different projects with the exact same tasks under each of them, is there a way I can report on where each of those projects are up to. Example as follows:

Project 1

  • Task a (Complete)
  • Task b (Complete)
  • Task c (In Progress)

Project 2

  • Task a (In Progress)
  • Task b (Not Started)
  • Task c (Not started)

The report I am looking to create at a high level should show that Project 1 is now up to task c while Project 2 is at task a.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank, welcome to Wrike Community 🙂
If the Tasks are the same and tagged under 2 Projects at the same time, they can only have 1 status at a time. However, if you make them different Tasks with the same title (by duplicating them, for example), you can set different statuses to them and create a Report showing those different statuses.

Please let me know if that helps 🙌

Hi Joseph De Bella, welcome to the Community 👋

Could you please let me know if these are the tasks from the same folder?

Got you Joseph De Bella! It is possible to group tasks by statuses, so if task 2 has a different status from the other ones, you can use the example I've given above (please see the screenshots). If they all have the same status, I'm afraid it wont' be possible to group them differently.
