General system-wide announcements, and/or knowledge base
Dear All:
I find myself today wishing that I could have a board within Wrike, or maybe a knowledge base, where I can post general service announcements or reference materials--like the current public URLs to request forms--so that the users will be aware of things or be able to refer to the cheat sheets or tips. Stuff like that. I'm going to do a work-around with a special folder and tasks dedicated to specific information, but I just thought I'd float the idea for future development.

@Stephen. Your thoughts gave me thoughts. Lol. I have a folder Called Quick Reference. In that folder are sub folders by category. I clicked on the folder, told it to show me all subtasks in all sub folders, and then went to Board View. Everything is under New or Completed. To change that up, i'm going to create a workflow that i can use to 'categorize' the tasks onto the board. Currently, it will have: IT Related, Marketing, Non-Marketing/PR, Public Relations. I assign the tasks to myself, mark them as backlogged and will now update them w/ their new status. I also have a Dashboard made based on what folder they are in, also makes for easy reference. Just my thoughts. I think i'll add a few folders, to include a Knowledge base, Public URLs as i think this will help everyone.
Agree, I'd like to have a folder that could just contain reference files that aren't uploaded as part of tasks. I find that having to add tasks within a folder defeats the purpose of having a quick reference repository in Wrike.
Hey Alicia Parker! It's possible to attach files to folders, without creating additional tasks:
