Hi Devon,
I've created a "Collaborator Basic Training" course template that can be assigned to each new collaborator for completion. The course is designed to take approximately 1 hour to complete all five lessons. Each lesson is a task with screen shots and an assignment. This could be easily expanded for a User 101 course.
Below is the lesson I've laid our for the first task. This should give you an idea of how the remaining lessons are structured. Maybe a little heavy on text, so there's probably some optimization that could be done to improve learning.
LESSON 01_Introduction & User Interface
You will need to COMPLETE this task to be able to move on to the next task in your training. To complete a task, you can either select COMPLETED from the drop-down menu in the upper left region of a task panel (below the task title), or select the CHECK BOX in the same region (see images below). You are now ready to start task LESSON 02_My Work Tab!
This is amazing Trevor, great idea and love how welcoming it is for a new user.
How many lessons are there? And I can see lesson 5 is 'Knowing the Knowledgebase', is this the Wrike Knowlege base or something internal? If it's Wrike's, you might find this document useful, it shows all the Wrike resources in one place. Very handy for new users to find learning material 👍
Hi Stephen,
The knowledge base referenced is the one in our Wrike workspace which also includes our playbook and FAQs (plus links to the Wrike knowledge base). We also have a request form that users can fill out to ask a question about using Wrike that is automatically loaded into the FAQ section and assigned to one of our internal Wrike experts. There is a custom workflow for FAQs that indicates if the question was answered, but keeps it as an active task so they don't disappear from the FAQs due to filtering.
A Request Form for questions about Wrike! That's the first time I've heard of that, and it sounds like such a good idea!
Do you get a lot of Requests? I'd love to see your FAQs if you're ok to share and there's no sensitive information 😇
Because we have a high number of collaborators relative to full user licenses, I wanted to make it easy for them to get answers to their Wrike questions without having to email and a way to log their questions for others to see. Unfortunately it's not actually used very often. Either our training was good or they're just keeping quiet! Here's a screen shot from our very short list of FAQs. Some of these were generate from the Wrike implementation, but a couple were specific questions from users here.
I think the fewer questions you receive, the better it's working!
What I really like about this approach, is that you learn in Wrike how to use Wrike - a sort of 'Inception' training 😊
I'm sure other people seeing this will be interested in setting up something similar. I hope you might add a task letting people know the Community can be used too 😎
Yes, I do need to add that! 👍
🙌
Hi Trevor - this is great!
Is it possible to share the other lessons you have outlined in this training? I am working on trying to learn (and teach) Wrike as quickly as possible and these lessons would be amazing to share with my team.
Thanks!
Jaime
Hi Jaime, we don't currently have a public folder I could share this to. There is also some company specific information in the lessons that I would not share publicly. I appreciate the question and wish I could be of more assistance. If I have a little time to output some of the lessons to a PDF, I will try to share a link to that in this forum, but it is not likely to happen this week. I'm sorry I can't be of more help at this time.
Best Regards,
Trevor
No worries - thank you!
