Start and End Dates on Projects need to be Automated

Project dates should be auto assigned based on first and last task in a project.  When you shift a project it's super annoying the dates don't shift on the project.   This forever causing our reports to have errors since we are managing over a 1000 projects at anyone time.

If Wrike decides to implement this feature, please make it an option (not automatic). My implementation relies on the Project's start and end dates remaining fixed to populate a smart calendar. If those dates are automatically updated, it will break my system. Thanks.

This will be very helpful to some members of my team (myself included), but would harm others. Making this an optional feature would be awesome!

I would love for this feature to be implemented.  We use template projects that load from an external request form.  The requester fills out a start date and we would like the tasks in the template to start from that date.

The option to auto populate start and end dates would be awesome! having to manually update the end date every time as you make updates is not efficient.  It also could cause an issue if a task gets pushed out and you don't happen to notice the overall impact to the project.  You will if that end date all of a sudden extends past what is expected!
