Why do asterisks appear when I type in a comment within the description field?
I have a bulleted list in the description field and any time I edit, the bullet disappears and asterisks automatically appear at the beginning of the line - one for each character I type. Why? How can I change this?

Hi Rebecca, as Michael says it's hard to understand why this would happen without a screenshot, so it would be great if you could share.
Can I also ask if you're copying and pasting the list from somewhere else into the Description? If so it may be a formatting issue that only kicks in when you attempt to edit the pasted version.
I talked to support and apparently this is a known issue, but there is no ETA on the fix

Looking at the internal investigation there are some live editor updates due in the next few months and this fix will go in place when these updates are launched 👍

Any updates on when this issue will be fixed? This still happens to me all the time and it is quite frustrating.
