[Status: Not planned] Files Widget - Edit File option
Our team relies heavily on the "Edit" file feature which is available inside a task. This option is notably absent from the available options when using the "Files" widget, rendering this feature less suitable to our needs.
We'd like to see the same "Edit" file feature available to the "Files" widget.
I have a few files in Wrike that I use to keep track of some things for one of my responsibilities. When I have to edit one of these files, I have to find the task in the widget that has it and other tasks for that responsibility, scroll past the description, and then edit the file.
I had this grand idea to have a personal "Important Files" folder to use as a tag to show the files I routinely need in a widget on my dashboard. When I made the widget, it looked so good until I tried to open one of the files and found that there was no edit option from the widget.
This seems like a major part of the file attachments system in Wrike to be completely left out of the widget.

Hi everyone, a quick update here;
At this time, the status of this thread is "Not Planned". It's important to be transparent with our Community, so I'll explain why the thread is changing status. While the team was investigating this at one point, it is not on the long-term roadmap. While it's possible that this idea will return at some point, it will not appear for a while. That's why the status is changing.
