Does Wrike's Outlook integration work similar to Basecamp's email integration?

Hi.

With Basecamp, my team can comment on projects through their email client (Outlook), and the comments get captured in BC's comments. Similarly, any comments made within BC are emailed to the appropriate team members. Essentially, all communication about a project resides in two places: Basecamp's project comments and Outlook. I prefer this approach.

It seems with Wrike, you can only turn emails into project comments, but comments added in Wrike don't automatically get sent via email, so you need to go into Wrike to see any new comments. I'm working with a trial version and I may not have it set up correctly. Am I missing something? Thanks for any insights.

There is Wrike outlook plugin if you go to their apps page that enables Outlook to have a connector to tasks.  I can tell you it is okay but not great.  It is a bit slow and my biggest issue is it doesnt consolidate multiple notification emails which the old plugin did and was amazing in that regard.

But, it does work really well for a quick comment back to a notification which is where I use it most.
