Feature Request: Visible Workflow categories in the UI

When I was onboarding a new employee, I was reviewing the custom workflows that we had created for our company and realized that there was no easy way to determine the status type of each custom workflow status without providing external documentation.

I would like your team to create a way to see the custom workflow status type easily by using either colors or icons that can appear on mouse over.

For example, a status can be of one of the following categories.

1. Active
2. Deferred
3. Completed
4. Cancelled

On mouse over, I would like to determine which one of those categories relates to a status by viewing the icon that appears beside it.

This mockup shows a sample workflow that has a set of statuses.  To the left of the colored icon there is another icon that has either [A] for Active, [D] for Deferred, [Co] for Completed and [Ca] for Cancelled.  The icon would only appear if the mouse is over the status but this mockup shows all of them at once.
