Printing Gantt chart with columns
I would like to print the Gantt chart for the project with the columns I have created for the project, but the printing is not including the columns for the print. Printing a snapshot is not working either because it is capturing top left part of the section.

Hi Sobe,
I've also been exploring options for printing Gantt Charts from Wrike.
When you say "columns" are you referring to Custom Fields? If so, Gantt View doesn't support display of Custom Fields as far as I can tell. Only default columns like Task Title, Start Date, Due Date, etc. are supported.
Mark, I want to print the standard default columns, task title, responsible, start date and due date. If I clock on print it only brings up the Gantt chart w/o the columns.
Hi Simon, one solution for this is to use the Print functionality in the Google Chrome browser instead of the Wrike "Print' button. If you adjust the browser zoom in Chrome, and then adjust the column sizing in Wrike, so that what you see in the browser window is what you want to print (you might need to really zoom out to e.g. 25% to do this), you can then click the Chrome menu and choose print. It then lets you resize to fit e.g. Legal paper and adjust the margins. Here is a screenshot of how we did this for one master plan we made (note I have covered over all the sensitive info, but you can see it shows the columns you want!). Hope this helps! Let me know if you find any other printings tricks and tips:
Thank you for sending this over. Unfortunately, this will not work due to the vertical size of the Gantt chart. It will make the text unreadable next to the tasks. The columns will be printed, but neither the top header row neither the tasks will be identifiable.
Hi Sobe, when you say the snapshot doesn't work because it's capturing the top left part of the section, what area are you specifying?
There are two options to print the Gantt Chart columns (like a bar chart) or you can take a Snapshot and this includes the table and an interactive view.
Including the left index / list with the actual gantt chart has been used in all of our project applications. This shows the actual duration of the individual tasks.
To get around some of them, in order to send a project update to my clients and to highlight the dependencies in a visual representation, i need to make use of the gantt chart or redo the work in ms projects and so on.
Other than that, it's quite time consuming for the users that don't have ms project to export the gant chart, then screen grab and stitch the list, and then edit the pdf to add the list back on.
Zooming out works for smaller projects but when coming to multi vendor items, it just doesn't cut it. Exporting to PDF on an A3 at 40% zoom allows the list then to show, but the gantt chart is then a pdf compressed pic with low quality / blurred.
It would be great to just export it with it's list on the side.
@Thread Danielle was actually asking for this functionality over in our Product Feedback section. If you could pop over and add a + to her request that would help provide more insight for our Product Team. 🙌
