Main/Chief assignees for tasks and projects
Sometimes you have to assign a single task or project to several people. It would be handy if you could appoint one of these people as the lead person.
This could be done by right-clicking on the assignee and giving him a small crown or something similar.
Other features of the main assignee could be thought about later.
I believe you can do this with a custom field! You could do this by adding a custom field called "Other Owners" and setting the field type as "User." I tested it and it seems like it will work!
Along these lines, it would be helpful to be able to have a primary and secondary assignee. This would allow tracking of the people who are the backup for a specific task in the event the primary is ill or on PTO.
John Fix We actually have a custom field called "Backup Assignee" that works pretty well.
