[New to Wrike] Workspace Themes 😎

I would love the option to turn ALL the white space into a dark gray/black. Think coders where they type their code on a dark background to help with eye strain. I stare at my screen 8 hours a day at work and the bright white hurts my eyes.

@Karin, thanks for this feedback, I think an inverted color might be good for this and I'll be sure to pass this on to the Product Team and update you hear if and when I have more information.

This is quite nice! Winter White for me, the fewer colors cluttering my screen, the less distraction

Looking forward to even more color schemes being added in the future. Variety is the spice of life, after all.

@Stephen, my assistant and i both chose Wonderland. Love how soft it feels. If that makes sense. She was going to do Imperial Purple, but said it was hard to read.

@Stephen, I chose Wonderland and a co-worker chose Flower Power. We had been using the ones that were in labs for quite a while. I must say we have had other users get excited about being able to make their workspaces look different with the new themes. They are fun! Would love to see more in the future.

Love the Theme's, I like Winter white but I have a Co-worker who is a fan of the color Pink. Any chance we can get a pink theme? 😃

I'd been using the party themes from the labs, so this is great! Midnight black for me. Shared this my team and they love it too - in an age when everything is customizable, having this option from Wrike just makes sense.

@Emily, zing! I have another Wrike account I use for demos and I've changed it to Midnight black so I know which account I'm using at a glance. It's my 'underworld' version of Wrike now 😄

I have the wonderland - keeps me somewhat calm plus I like the darker/softer background of it better on my eyes now that I am almost to bifocals! I hate getting old!!!! 😂

Hi Elizabeth, that's really interesting! A lot of people seem to like this Theme because of the same reasons. This is great feedback for the team who worked on this 👍

Ps. Wearing bifocals is very trendy at the moment so I wouldn't worry about that! 🙃

CUSTOMISATION PLEASE!

@Stephen very glad to see the new themes - I love companies that respond to customer feedback!

That being said, I am desperate for Wrike to enable greater customisation.

The current workspace themes are quite dated. Not everyone will be partial to animal print, floral print or the colour schemes you select. 

I would greatly appreciate the freedom to set my own colour scheme and upload a background image (this is possible with Trello, Kantree etc). Seeing a large, beautiful image that inspires my work would be the perfect addition to Wrike's excellent functionality.

Hi Stevie, thanks for the feedback! I'm the exact same in regards to greater customization. There are some images I want to use as my background, especially one photo I took of the Atlantic Ocean from the Irish coast. Not to brag, but I could look at that photo all day, every day 😍

The good news is that the team really want to develop background customization, plus some other Theme enhancements, like general customized color settings.

Currently, there are some other functional optimizations in the Workspace that are planned and on the roadmap for this year which require their full attention.

So this update is step one - step two is coming, however, I can't provide any estimate arrival date.

I hope that update helps! I'm curious as to what theme you and your team have opted for? I constantly change themes to freshen things up a little; right now I'm using Merlot, it's pretty slick 😎

i like the customizations, as i have sensitive eyes, probably because of staring into the screens all day.. in addition to themes i would like to be able to choose the background colors, and the font colors against the background, with that i would choose my own color scheme that would ease the strain on my eyes. this is a must have in 2018/19.. go dev team!

P.s. sorry to hear about your sensitive eyes, mine are the same 😳 I find the bright backgrounds help me 👍 

I love the new themes, so helpful for those of us with vision sensitivity.  

@Stephen I have noticed that since I added my Flower Power theme (I have been trying a few) my wrike has slowed down and has had some funny glitches that cause me to need to refresh the wrike page several times (desktop app version) or to quit wrike and reboot it.  Is this a desktop app issue, I am only now seeing it more often that I have changed my Wrike theme.  I never noticed this on the web browser version though.

We loved the Halloween theme so much, we were hoping we could have a holiday theme too!

Hello! 
It would be nice that the workspace theme extend to the "account management" template. Our logo is on a transparent font (as suggested) and gets lost in the wrike basic template (bad color match between our companies!). It's a detail, but we loose the "home button" visually. Otherwise, people really appreciate this option.

This has been a great addition to the Wrike platform.  I personally use Wonderland most frequently, but find myself changing to various themes on a regular basis. 

I'd love to see a customizable theme option, where I can upload a photo or even change the hue of existing themes.  Even cooler would be a "Best Of" - User Submitted Themes page, where users can upload their themes for others to download and use.  I think this would instill some community amongst Wrike users.

HI Dylen, great ideas. I love the idea of uploading your own image or even creating your own theme to share with others - I'm definitely all about Community so really like this 😁

I know the team have some plans to expand this area, however, there are other essential enhancements they're primarily working on within the Product so we don't have any expected dates right now.

It's great for the product team to see everyone here really liking the available themes. I often change my theme to simply freshen up my Workspace a little, 'a change is as good as a rest', as the proverb goes. 🙂

I like the themes, but..... Still with every theme the most space on the screen is still bright white. If only it was possible to change the large white spaces to somewhat darker colors.

I totally get you Dennis and our product design team have been thinking about this.

Once I have more information about developments in this area I'll be sure to update you all here 👍
