Analytics: scope

Hello, i would include or exclude some tasks in the Analytics scope.

help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/209604049-Analytics-View

Is it possible to say to Analitycs: "please, include AND/OR exclude a certain set of tasks?

I am asking becasue :

  1. in analytics, tasks having subtasks are included in the totals (but they should not)
  2. I would have a reporting based on the first 2 hierarchy levels onnly I would provide a simplified view to the executives.

Thanks

Paolo

Hi Paolo - welcome to the forums! 🙌

There's not a lot of filtering we can apply in the Analytics View, but I can move this thread to the Product Feedback section of the forums so that our team sees that request?

In the meantime - Reports do have more filtering abilities. Have you had a chance to check those out before? If not let me know and we can see if they could potentially work.

Thansk for the rpely, and sorry form my delays in giving you a feedback

Yes reporting could work (I haven't tested) but Analystics is a quick and pretty good look 'n feel tool...

Defining the scope of tasks included I think it is a must to leverage its usage..

About Wrike usage, I am havign difficulties in defining whne it can be used as a day to day tool or when it can be used as a prj mgmt tool, becasue the usage in both scenario is pretty different...

Reporting/ Dashboarding, for instance is one aspect where I would have a user /detailsed view but also an executive summary point of view..

Thank you

Paolo
