Multiple notification pop ups

I use the Wrike desktop app, Win 10.  Whenever i get mentioned or assigned, i get the notification pop up 3 times, one right after the other. I thought it was computer based, but it happens on my laptop and my tablet. Does anyone else get this or have experienced it and know what to do?

Hi Marj, that doesn't sound right. Let me raise a ticket to Support to troubleshoot. I know it can be a pain but the first step when something like this is happening is to uninstall and reinstall the app so maybe try this in the meanwhile.

Thank you for creating the ticket. I did a bit of troubleshooting because I know the more information gathered, the better my chances of getting this resolved.  I have responded to the ticket created w/ my findings.

No update. I only have 2 pop up now per notification. Have done a lot of uninstalls, etc, and nothing has helped yet. 😊

@Tony Hey, I raised a ticket with Support for you as well so that the issue is tracked properly.

@Steve,

Interesting you should bring this up! I had gotten so used to the multiple (it became only 2 eventually) that i stopped noticing them. We have Microsoft Teams, and that does the same type of pop-up, so i guess my brain didn't notice that now, i'm not getting any pop ups from Wrike. 

I uninstalled the app, reinstalled, rebooted, and they're back! I get two notifications on each Wrike Mention.

Not sure what i may have done to make them go away, but installing the latest version of Wrike did not resolve the double pop ups. 

NOTE: My assistant, when asked, also noticed she no longer got pop ups either.

One step that is helping the majority of customers, is reinstalling the application. So please try these steps as a possible solution for now:

  1. Quit the Wrike app.
  2. Uninstall the app, just like you would any other program (through Windows Settings).
  3. Go to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming and delete the Wrike folder. Note that you may have to enable viewing Hidden files in order to find the Appdata folder and get to the Wrike one.
  4. Download the Dekstop App installer and install the app fresh.

Stephen -- I did everything advised above but still getting triple notifications so unfortunately that work around did not solve this problem for me. 😒
