Service Accounts for Syncs
My team wants to integrate our Wrike implementation with our GitHub integration. To do that, I can either use my administrator credentials, or create another paid user and grant them administrator rights.
It would be great if the idea of a "Service Account" was present in Wrike. This would be a free, or deeply discounted user class, that had the necessary rights to sync between Wrike and Github and JIRA, but was not allowed interactive logins. I don't like the idea of having another full-blown admin account out in the wild unless I absolutely need to.
This would be very helpful with intergrating across applications. We are trying to transfer information between out ticketing system and Wrike through Corepoint and now we find we need an account for Wrike. This in turn means we also need a new email account for this Wrike account which will be unattended, so now I have to get my exchange admin involved to set up the email account for autodelete and so on...
Hey everyone, thank you for all of your feedback. It's been passed on to the Product team.
Yeah, we need this. I keep getting emails from tasks that I am only tied to because my user is used for the integration.
