Wrike Onboarding with a Gumball
2 things that are helping us with massive change resistance when it comes to Wrike:
1) A gumball challenge - we divided our staff into their work teams and pitted them against each other, with points for everything from opening the software properly to @mentioning, delegating, adding fields and running reports. We didn't even tell people what the prizes were, just put up a weekly scoreboard to encourage their competitive streaks... And the only place they could access their challenges was - of course - Wrike...
2) We created custom fields for our Strategic Objectives, and eradicated the old spreadsheet. Our teams have to report back on the SOs they've contributed to twice annually, so learning how to do this in Wrike became essential for their survival. It also became much easier than trying to keep a spreadsheet up to date...
What a innovate way to onboard, Ralph. Sounds like a fun office! Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks Stephen - we work in a university counselling service, so fun on the admin side of things is essential!
We've also discovered that project management is almost an entirely new mindset for a lot of the staff here, so Wirke has become a way of teaching people how to think strategically, rather than just a new tool for doing it...
Looking forward to seeing some other onboarding ideas, as it's definitely still a work in progress here!
I totally agree with you, Ralph. You might be interested in watching this existing recorded webinar about Wrike adoption.
Or this upcoming one this week about onboarding new users. You'll hear from a Wrike expert and have the chance to ask some questions too 👍
