New Features Request

Hi,

I would like to see a couple new features in Wrike:

  • A simple undo button that is always in some corner (that doesn't just appear after making certain changes)
  • When I changed a task's status (besides to complete or canceled), all its subtasks are also given that status. I don't want to manually changed all the subtasks.

Thanks!

  • +1 to the Undo Button. I rely on filters and widgets a lot to keep track of my tasks. Any accidental change that removes a task from a widget means the tasks disappearance from my radar. The undo option that appears for certain changes disappears after a (admitedly lengthy) while, so even there I've had situations where I had to go looking for a lost task because I didn't react quickly enough to click the undo button.
  • I don't experience the issue with subtasks changing status along with their parent task

Adding more customization and flexibility would go a long way 🙂

  • Maybe add the feature to allow the forms to be edited with HTML/CSS.
  • Have more than one column to work with.
  • More flexible formatting options (i.e. moving questions beside another question, change checkbox format from vertical to horizontal, ability to change text/input indent placement, option to change text formats, etc.).
  • Adding the option to attach files to the Wrike task would be amazing.

Hey everyone, apologies for the delay in response.

It is now possible to choose for subtasks to be automatically completed once the parent task has been completed. If you don't want the status of these tasks to change, you can choose not to complete them as well.

The undo button is available in several views in Wrike, including the description field and the Gantt chart. If there are any other areas you'd like to see an undo button, be sure to create a post about this in the Product Feedback section.

Hi Jorel S. Viray, and welcome to the Community! Thank you for sharing your suggestions. I'd recommend creating a Product feedback post about these suggestions, so that other Community members will be able to vote and show their support for these ideas, and provide their own feedback as well.

If you need anything else, be sure to let me know.

The feature I propose wrike to implement is the possibility to specify a lag/lead time in calendar days.

Example: let's try to model in Wrike two sets of relationships.
In the first set I have a bounch of activities that I need to model with a lag expressed in "working days". E.g., considering just the week-end as off-days, if activity "A" is completed on monday and a set a "FS + 5d" as a lag to start activity "B", activity "B" will start on next coming monday (5 working days + 2 off- days = 7 calendar days). This is the normal behaviour of Wrike.

But I also have another set of activities that I want to establish a "lag" in terms of "calendar days", i.e. the lag must not take into account off-days. So, if activity "C" is completed May the 5th, I want activity "D" to start exactly 10 days after the completion of "C", so May 15th regardless the number of "off-days" we have in between.
I'm a past user of MsProject and I was able to simple specify the lag unit (working days or calendar days) and I propose a similar feature for Wrike.

Hi Stefano Avolio, welcome to the Community 👋

There is lead and lag time in task dependencies available in Wrike. Can you please check it out and let me know if it's helpful for your case?

I've already checked. Lead and lag time works perfectly, but at the moment they allow you just to specify working days and not calendar days. My proposal is to allow to specify both working and calendar days.
