Filtering information based on custom field values in table view - would checbox style method be better?

When I am using Filters in Table view I have to use this keyword (=contains) type of sorting to chose which information from custom fields to show. In Timeline view I am able to do this by checkboxing different values directly from the list.

Both ways are excellent, but I still feel that in Table view also this checkboxing style option would be better also have.

Could these both ways to sort information based on information in custom fields be active in every view - timeline, table etc..
