'Remind me about this' feature on Comments and Tasks
A 'Remind me about this' feature—like the one in Slack—would be great if linked to a Comment in a task, or to a Task itself. The options off that menu could be the same as Slack's: in 20 minutes, in 1 hour, in 3 hours, Tomorrow, Next Week.
When that time comes, then the task would re-enter the user's Inbox.
This would help avoid things falling through the cracks, such as when you ask someone a question (in a Comment) in one of the tasks you have assigned to them, and you want to make sure you get a reply.

@MC Hi! I just wanted to say I love the video, really well explained, thank you! And just to double check, you've seen the snooze feature for Inbox?
Hi @Stephanie — yes, the Snooze feature in Inbox is great but my request relates more to Comments made on Tasks, not things that would appear as Incoming in my Inbox.
Yes! I need this as well!!! Many times I am multitasking and see a conversation in the comments section (that is not in my inbox) that I need to bounce back to but don't have the time at that moment so a remind me feature, much like the one in slack would be AWESOME!
Love this idea! Also would like it if you can get inbox reminders for tasks with multiple milestone dates.
This would be so helpful! I love this idea, and came to the Help Center looking for this exact thing.
Thank you for bumping this thread Brittany Stringer🙌🏼
Bumping again. I was just trying to setup an automation where I could type a specific comment to trigger an @mention to myself as a reminder. Not possible, but what I am looking for is the same as OP described. It was an awesome way of working in Slack to /remind and a common language duration.
In my case we are working on updating some photos but a current promotion prevents us from changing the product. I'd like to check back next week, but I have to go outside of Wrike to set an alarm, schedule a reminder, etc. It would be smart to add this to the workflow and keep the work happening inside of Wrike, and allow me to see the task I want to be reminded about.
I've spoken with Wrike staff on numerous occasions on numerous occasions about pre-reminders for tasks, primarily for folks not "living" in Wrike. They said Wrikes goal is to have users operate inside of there, so following dashboards etc is how they've designed it. So I gave up on that feature ever making it into Wrike.
In this case having a reminder function would enable "living in Wrike" so it should be considered. It's GOT to be simple to add a reminder that pings your inbox.
Hi Brandin Aguayo, thank you for your detailed comment! May I ask if creating an automation rule to @mention yourself if the task's status hasn't been changed in X days wouldn't be an option for you?
Hi @... - the automation rule you suggested would be annoying for our use case as it usually involves multiple people working on a task.
To use the automation rule, I'd need to tag myself [coworkers get notifications of this] before automation bot replies with the reminders [coworkers get notifications of this]. It's not uncommon to have up to a dozen people assigned to a task for informational purposes, which results in a massive amount of spam being sent for a simple reminder.
In addition to that, with your work around there's no way to specify a period like the original request's "20 minutes, in 1 hour, in 3 hours, Tomorrow, Next Week".
Hi Jarod Pulo, thank you for your detailed reply, I've passed your feedback on to our Product Team 👍
Bumping this thread as well! The reminder feature (similar to Slack as others mentioned) would be great. I appreciate Juan's automation suggestion. It would just be challenging based on the reminder not being needed for every task in a given folder, and also often needing a different reminder cadence in terms of the numbers of days.

Sometimes I just need to follow up on a particular task and I would love to be able to add a reminder to follow up on it. Those tasks aren't always in my inbox, but i guess i could tag myself and then snooze, but those options for snooze don't always fit the bill. I would love to do a custom time, for example snooze for 1 hour rather than 3.
Thanks, Christina Stamm, for sharing your use case and suggestion 🙏 We will share your feedback with our team.
