Dashboard filtering task
Hi all
I need customize a dashboard with a widgets that show me only the task that satisfy to a filter BUT not the subtask that satisfy same filter
Is it possible to do?

Hi Stefano, thanks for posting. The short answer here is, not exactly. The filter will show tasks/subtasks that meet that specification. If a subtask is there then you'll see this show up.
Is there some Custom field or other specification exclusive only to subtasks? If so, you can use this to exclude them?
For example, (and I suppose a sort of workaround or hack) you can create a checkbox Custom Field name, 'Subtask' and tick this each time you create a subtask so you can then later use this Custom Field in your filters when creating your Dashboard to exclude subtasks.
Obviously, this adds a little more work but worth thinking about if you're looking to remove subtasks from your widgets going forward.
