Pricing dilemma

I am not sure that I understand how Wrike pricing works, and I'm still evaluating the product.

For example, it a company has a business account with 40 user seats and 36 assigned users - do they need to pay for 36 or 40 licenses? In other words - is the pricing model per user or per paid seat?

In terms of your example above, if you set up a Business subscription with 40 seats, the price would reflect 40 seats regardless of how many are in use at a given time.
