Allow Admin to manage user time zone & perhaps Location

New users default to the US/Pacific Timezone. Our staff are in the UK and this results in me having to tell each new user to change their timezone which isn't a great experience. If they don't their updates have incorrect timestamps. This should really be defaulted to the browser timezone upon registration, but even with that it would be really useful as an admin to be able to manage my users time zone and perhaps location profile attributes.

Vast majority of our users are in the same time zone, so it would make sense to have an admin-controlled global default time zone setting for new users.

We could also use an option to update every member's time zone setting at once.

I agree, I just sent out a large email today requesting people to make this change to their account so that we are all on the same timezone.

I agree with the above. It's also a problem for collaborators. I presume that if on the wrong time zone then Gantt is going to start shifting about for early morning / late afternoon and time logging could be thrown out.

+1 for at least having a default time zone for the account; if that's not possible then +1 for mass edit of users

+1 for this. Its bad enough I cant sync user groups from my identity provider. Now I need to micromanage default settings like this per user. The admin overhead with this tool is increasing the more we move through our deployment. This is not stuff the user is prompted to change, so it wont get changed without admin intervention.

Hi, any plans to implement time zones?

It's now 4 years since the topic has been started and in my org only a handful of the users changed their timezone and telling every single one by one to change is a pain. Also, why is US/Pacific the standard, if it would be UTC+0 would make more sense.

If you guys can't understand that change of timezone is one of a basic standard, then it seems to me I would need to check with my company, if we shouldn't move to a different tool. Which is easier, then begging people to upvote this topic, which is 4 years old...

I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed Manoj Vimalassery! It's possible to @mention My Team in a comment in Wrike, which will include all regular users and admins and let them know about the need to change the timezone all at once. Can this help?

In agreement with Manoj Vimalassery. This is a basic setting, especially for a collaborative task management tool.
