Hi Sascha.... to increase our impact could you please "up vote" all messages in this string...?

The Wrike client and sales teams have been fantastic on this issue - they have escalated internally and they all agree it is a feature which is critical.

It appears however that the Production Development team are really under the pump - I assume handling the Lightspeed release - the message I received was that they also concede this is an important feature - so I guess we just need to be patient and let them catch up... 

Given the above, I am expecting a routine update to keep this front of mind and ON-TRACK - thx for your support.

hi Lisa, any updates on this ?  our work is suffering due to this limitation.... 

Lisa - I understand you have no updates - but given the shear volume of votes this topic has attracted - and the explained pain & logic WRIKE need to step up. I have analysts who are using this lack of function, explaining it as an 'inability to safeguard data integrity' which is adding to the "CONS" as we undertake a mandatory competitive test of our software investments. I am fighting hard, but WRIKE need to step up and fix what is in essence a design flaw... 

This thread is now almost SIX YEARS OLD... and has 112 Votes...

It remains as THE MOST important design flaw to be addressed in WRIKE - my six month 'resurrection' comment follows below.

As requested below - if the ability to "lock" [prevent accidental editing] is important to you PLEASE "UPVOTE" THIS THREAD

Feedback from my Wrike Customer Support Leader is encouraging but we need to 'maintain the rage'

by way of frequent and often forum messaging - it is apparent that the 60 Vote threshold is not really enough to drive a 'prioritised' response.

Thx again SV for maintaining this thread which has origins back to 2018....!!!!   Lightspeed is great from most POVs but a fix to this would have been much more benefit to us.... WRIKE Development please keep looking at this as a priority... 

Adrian Polden, completely agree with you on the need for admin control over who may access / edit Custom Fields.  The lack of this feature is a deal breaker for us.  Given interesting options available from Microsoft, we are now considering using Teams + Dynamics or MS Planner.   Shifting all our users will eb a giant pain, but we cannot allocate the resources need to keep checking validity of the CF's in Wrike.  SV -

I understand that it can be disappointing to see some of the suggestions, especially those that were created a while back and have over 60 upvotes, not being developed in Wrike. While our Product team would love to work on the majority of the most upvoted suggestions, it's not always feasible. Sometimes, adding new functionality may require resources that we currently don't have available.

is there any thought to adding this option?  as a Project management tool Wrike needs to have better controls to help users manage & view timelines for task and Custom Fields.

Lisa   please give us some reason for hope.  the lack of this feature is an ongoing pain point for our usage of Wrike.  We have a lot of Custom Fields in use and lack of data security is a problem.  

The REQUEST for Admin to be able to LOCK CUSTOM CELL CONTENT runs back to 2018 with hundreds of UPVOTES - ALL competitor software has this feature - I am wondering why WRIKE cannot or will not, provide a sensible response.
