Filter out completed tasks in previous month
Hello,
is there a way to include tasks that were completed say in the last month but keep seeing other that are in progress etc. in my widgets? Because I now have some completed tasks trailing back from 2017 that are not relevant anymore and overfilling widgets.
Hi RS, you can use Filters in your Dashboard to see what Status you want to see in the Widget.
Go to Dashboards and the triple dot option in the top right corner and select edit. On the right side of the dialog box you'll see your Filtering options and you can filter by Workflows too. Any questions, let me know 👍
Hi, my question here was if there is a way to filter i.e. queued, in progress, and completed, but only completed in say the last two weeks. As it is now I would see all completed tasks, from few years ago which are irrelevant today.
@RS There is a "Completed Date" filter. Is that more along the lines of what you're looking for? You can use the "this week" or "last week" options to have a rolling set of tasks (i.e. as the weeks change, so will the tasks that you see). The "time frame" filter might be more helpful if you only want to see tasks that were the completed within the last two days specifically. Let me know if we're still not understanding!
Hi, thanks for answer Stephanie, but that's not exactly what I was looking for. With the filter you mentioned, I would only see completed tasks in some time frame. What I want to do is to have all tasks on one widget, sorted by workflow, and only see the recently completed ones. A.k.a, only filter out completed tasks by time, without impacting tasks under other workflow status.
I think I better understand your request now but please let me know if I've misunderstood 😇
On one widget you want to see tasks from multiple Workflows, but limit the timeframe for Completed tasks only.
Current logic won't allow this as all items on the widget are subjected to the filters, not just the Completed timeframe you choose. You can set up two widgets side by side; one showing all workflows you need to see, and a separate widget showing Completed tasks within the specified date range filter.
Let me know what you think about this workaround?
Yes, this was exactly what I am looking for. I believe for now I will just try collapsing Completed tasks and user your suggested workaround if the number of tasks gets too high.
Thanks for getting back RS. Happy to hear you can move forward now anyway. I'll move this post to the Product Feedback section so other members looking for the same thing can upvote it 👍
Filters/Completed on
Can we get to more options implemented:
last month
