Agreed! I believe that a couple years ago at Collaborate, when they were releasing lightspeed for the first time, this was supposed to be a part of the "customizable home screen" and we were super excited about it! Unfortunately, we never saw that come to light. We would love to be able to add inbox to our dashboards so that our team could see their notifications/mentions as well as their to-dos all in one spot!

One thing we struggle with is having team members working out of their inbox, which results in things getting missed. Although we continue to stress best practices, this would solve that problem!

This feature request would greatly benefit my organization and various teams. It would be great to be able to add a widget to dashboards of the inbox so that you could see notifications and mentions all in one place (on the dashboard). This would also be helpful because some team members, though suggested against, tend to work out of their inbox solely which we suggest is not recommended. This would help solve that issue so the team member is looking at just one place for their work, mentions, notifications, etc.

Are there any updates on this idea?  Clearly, users have been begging for it for 8 years! We are struggling to build team dashboards, where each individual can go follow up on all of their @mentions (even when not assigned to the task) while also allowing managers to see how their teams work is progressing.  Even being able to filter a widget by followers, then status, would offer a pseudo-workaround to the @mention issue, as folks become followers once @mentioned, correct?
