Hiding Weekend on Timeline

I keep accidentally selecting Weekends, As due date on projects. so now just going to pick middle of the week days, until there is a fix

We're finding that the inclusion of weekends on the Gantt view are giving a false visual impression of working time on a task.

I'd love to be able to just choose working days and hide weekends.

Does it help that the weekends are greyed out on the Gantt Chart?

That's a good start, but hiding them would be better as it looks like the time we have is longer than it is currently.

I agree with Becky. Would be great to hide weekends on the Gantt chart as it creates unnecessary gaps in the view.

Did this get resolved? I agree, I can't reasonably keep using this if I can't remove weekends; it can make a 2 day task look like a 4 day task which doesn't offer the visual impact/clarity that a gantt chart should offer.

I would like the weekends to be hidden as well. Hope this happens soon. I just started using Wrike but this is one thing that is annoying. Other Gantt companies have this available.

I would also love to have the option to hide the weekends. Occasionally we might need the use of weekends for special events, but for 97% of our projects, we would love to be able to hide the weekends. Having this as a filter option would be great so that people who need weekends can use it, but the rest of us could hide them when needed. Thank you for the consideration!

I also agree with Amy Chapman. I'd also love to hide the weekends. When sharing my screen with clients to discuss shared responsibilities, several have commented that it is confusing to know realistically how much time a task should take.

Resurrecting this in 2025 -- any word on progress or a solution for this? As it stands, even the 'greyed out' solution isn't great, because the color in the timeline remains and, as others have stated, this gives a false visual of each part of a project/process when viewing the gantt chart.

Adding my vote for a feature to remove weekends from the Gantt View display, to keep this thread relevant and active!  I've not seen any changes to this effect yet, despite the Gantt View apparently getting a small overhaul recently(?).
