Tracking changes to project end dates

I've seen posts in the forum relating to tracking changes to task dates.  My issue is subtly different.  I need to track changes to project end dates.

Specifically, I have a folder that contains over 100 active projects.  I need to see where changes to the end dates of all or any of those projects have taken place.  To replicate the process manually, I'd have to go into the stream of each individual project, scroll through it and find the text "Changed due date from" and populate three cells in Excel; old date, new date, project name / ID.

An automated report to do this would make my life so much simpler!

Hi Tony, our team are interested in enhancing the options in our Analytics view and this sort of feedback is valuable during these internal conversations. You can check this detail on tasks (as you're probably aware) by reviewing the baseline chart you can see scheduled and current start and end dates for tasks., but a more robust way of reporting on this and exporting the detail to a document would be useful.

Thanks for sharing your feedback here for others to vote and discuss 🤝

It looks like this feature has not been added in the past 6 years. I would also like to see this Activity Report feature added.

We need to be able to see how often we are changing our task and project end/due dates, which is not currently a filter option in the Activity Report. You can only pull Approval Due Date changes, which is not a feature we use due to it's limitations.

Yes, this would be an incredibly useful metric. We encounter issues with date changes regularly on the team but lack the ability to measure the true impact without a way to demonstrate it visually.

I have a need for this report also. We want to be able review trends for when/why task due dates change.
