Progress 100% - but all tasks Pending?

I'm not sure if this appropriate for 'How To' - but I couldn't find another outlet to ask this question which I presume is either a bug or user error...so here I am, asking 'How to' fix this issue. ;)

I have a series of reoccurring monthly projects that are created from a blueprint on reconciling monthly expenses.  My project is set with a 'progress' measured by 'Completed Tasks' and has 7 tasks to complete each month.  This works seamlessly most times - but suddenly I'm encountering some random duplicates of this blueprint have a 'Progress' of 100% - even though all the tasks in the project are 'pending'.

I double-checked the progress measurement is set correctly, and even tried 'completing' and changing task statuses back to pending to see if it changed the measurement - but it never changes from 100%. It doesn't do this on all projects created from this blueprint - only a few (seemingly) random ones.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something - or is this a bug? Some screenshots of what's happening below:

Hi Cody Silfies,
I believe it's due to the way Wrike calculates progress, which only takes into account active or completed tasks.
Deleted and deferred tasks aren't included in the calculation.

To have a real calculation you must to put "pending" status on Active Status Group.

Thanks for the response Pietro Poli.  I believe "pending" status is in the Active status group by default (at least it is for the default workflow, which these projects/tasks are using - see image below).

Even if this were the case, it wouldn't explain why it's happening to some projects but not all of them, when they're all using 'pending' from the same workflow. Perplexing!

Hi Cody Silfies,

this looks quite interesting! Which method do you use to calculate progress? And could you make a screenshot of a table view where duration and effort of the subtasks is visible?

Just curious!

Hi Florian Kislich

I'm using 'Completed Tasks' to calculate progress:

Here's a screenshot of the tasks in one of the affected projects:

Weirdly - one of the two projects where this was happening to me was one that I just started working on today. When I flipped the status of the project to 'in progress' it cleared out the stuck '100%' progress bar and started working as expected - so now I just have one project that has this issue (the one from the screenshot).
