Restricting list of selectable records from a DataHub datatable

Hi,

Today when cerating a DataHub field, we can only define what datatable to get connected, and we get access to all records for selection.

However it would be really useful to be able to select only set of records based on filter criteria.

E.g. you have a country table containing all countries of interest for our organization. A view will filter all countries relevant for Asia. And we create in Wrike a custom field showing only the Asia relevant countries. That way we can for Asia related plans select only an asian country facilitating the selection, as well as reducing risk of selection errors.

We see too options for this:

1) Being able to add filter criteria against any column of the datatable when defining a DH custom field.

2) Being able to use the view mechanism in datatables: We would predefine filters and set of columns needed to get seen in Wrike in a table view; In Wrike, we will then either select only views and no more datatables for the link between DH custom field and DataHub, or we still select only datatables, and another attribute will be added to define what view of a selected datatable is to get used (first one as default one).
