Effort allocation per week

It would be great to have the availability to extract data about the assigned effort per week in Wrike Analyze. Currently Wrike analyze only holds . But efforts within tasks can be flexible assigned. Since that data is stored in wrike, it would be useful if it could be used in reporting.

Hi Simone Darphorn please can you expand a bit on this?  I appears that your post might be missing some words.  We use flexible effort all the time and have several WA reports that summarise assigned effort per week, so I'm thinking that your use case is possibly different from ours.  I'd love to help if I can!

Dear Phil Taylor,

Thank you for your response! I'm just starting to use Wrike Analyze, so it could also be that I'm not familiar with the capability. I'm interested in the overview to summarize the assigned effort per week for the members with a specific job role. Not the booked hours, but the assigned effort hours. I was only able to find fields in Wrike analyze for the 'Total Effort' on a task. and not the effort allocated to week 39, for example. Or are you using a formula. Could you give me a example which fields/formula's to use to create something like:

Week 39:

Scientist X - Project X - 25 hours

Scientist B - Project Y - 5 hours

Scientist B - Project X - 30 hours

Scientist C - Project Z - 12 hours

Scientist C - Project Y - 3 hours

Where the hours in the report are only the hours allocated in that specific week and not the total hours of the full task.

(If on task division instead of project would also be okay... )

with kind regards,

Simone

Hi Simone Darphorn,

Although I haven't got anything similar to exactly what you are asking for, I believe the "User Total Allocated Effort (Minutes) could be useful for your case, it would just require filtering in the formula.

I do however do something similar with booked effort, where for any given day + person I can see the total amount they have booked.

Also, might just be me being silly, are you using the workload charts? We use them for what sounds like the exact same purpose.

Hope this Helps!

Jon.

Dear Jon,

Thank you for your response. Yes, we are using the workload chart. And indeed that gives a similar. My example above was a simplification, so that if I know how I can do that in Wrike Analyze I can use it to create overview reports using the assigned effort per week. "User Total Allocated Effort (Minutes)" only give the total on the complete task.

I have now also found the field 'Assignee Task Effort', which does seem to have the sub division. So I think I have to further look in that area. Now see how I can use it with formula and filter functionality to get what I want.

I'm still learning along the way ;-)

And I have now learned that report created with Wrike Analyze cannot be shared with our collaborators. (people not actively using wrike, but just need to see output data). Therefore I unfortunately loose half of my supposed audience for these reports :-(

Hi Simone,

Are you unable to share it as a public link?

We do this to share with stakeholders in other departments that aren't involved with Wrike, but still need to see some date from it.
