My to-do table view task durations

When the My to-do list was still in list view, I was able to adjust the settings to allow tasks to display on the dates of which that task fell. For example if I had a task due Monday-Thursday this week and today was Tuesday, that task would show up on today, tomorrow, and this week's task date groupings. With the conversion, it only appears on the day it is due, causing me to lose sight of progress I could've/should've been making earlier on in the week. Is there a way to adjust those settings now, or is that at least on the horizon for updates in the future?

Hi Kelsey Rudolph,

you're right, I could reproduce your issue too. I usually don't use the My to-do list, so I didn't notice before. But I also might suggest kind of a workaround: With the new filters it is possible to show all tasks that are due in the next XX days (unfortunately this means not today), but there's another option for "this week". If you combine this filter with "Status: Active", you'd see all to-do's that are due this week and still active. So if you missed something the day before, it'll still show up, as upcoming tasks of the next days. For me this is even more helpful than seeing only what is due today.

Hope this helps!

Just wanted to circle back and say I almost submitted this exact same feedback again today - completely forgetting I had already posted it back in July! That is how much I miss the old My-to-do behavior where tasks would appear under each day they were scheduled for. It really helped not only me, but my team manage the daily workload and I'm still hoping this functionality (or something similar) might return in the future.

Florian Kislich I really appreciate the workarounds you shared. Your suggestion to use "this week" was definitely the closest to what I'm looking for, but I still miss the way tasks used to be grouped under "Today" and "Tomorrow" etc. It was kinof like Group > Due Date >Timelines, and that structure helped me stay on top of my daily priorities.

Unfortunately, that method also duesn't capture overdue tasks the wya the old view did. which makes it even harder to keep track of what's slipping through the crack.

I know I'm probably being overly needy here - and I must be in theminority since it's been four months and I'm one of only two upvotes - but I'm still draming of that feature making a comeback!

Until then - I will work out of my custom dashboard 😆

Hi Kelsey Rudolph,

regarding overdue tasks, you can add an additional filter for "Date: Overdue"!
